Taking the first step can be the hardest. Reaching out for support is a practical, courageous decision, and it’s often the beginning of real change.
Many people come to counselling feeling stuck in anxious thoughts, heavy worry, panic symptoms, low mood, irritability, or anger that feels hard to control. Others arrive because their relationship is strained, communication has broken down, or trust has been damaged. Whatever brings you here, you don’t have to carry it alone.
At Blue Healers Counselling, we offer counselling support that is tailored to your needs and goals. If anger has started running the show, we’ll work on practical strategies for steadier regulation and healthier responses. If trauma is still sitting in the body, we take a gentle, trauma-informed approach that respects your pace. If you’re navigating NDIS-related support needs, we can provide counselling and psychosocial support aligned with your circumstances.
We also provide counselling support tailored for men, including stress, anger, relationships, identity, and the pressure to keep it all together. For couples, we help you slow the cycle down, improve communication, rebuild trust, and find a way forward that feels fair to both people.
We offer specialised counselling for current and former police and emergency services personnel, including support for operational stress, cumulative trauma, sleep disruption, hypervigilance, and the strain these roles can place on relationships and family life. We also support people navigating Queensland WorkCover claims, with counselling that focuses on emotional wellbeing while you manage the practical realities of the process.
Grief and loss can be life-altering, whether the loss is recent or something you’ve carried for years. We provide a steady, compassionate space to process what’s happened, make sense of what you’re feeling, and move forward without forcing a timeline.
Our work is grounded in compassion, clarity, and practical change. We focus on helping you build capacity first, so that the tools actually become usable in real life. You don’t have to be “ready” or have the perfect words. You just have to start.

Yes. We offer both in-person sessions in Graceville (Brisbane) and online counselling, depending on what feels most accessible and appropriate for you.
The first session is a chance to slow things down and understand what’s been happening. We’ll explore what brought you in, what you’ve tried so far, what matters to you, and what would make counselling feel genuinely helpful. We work at a pace your nervous system can tolerate, building capacity before expecting big changes.
Our counselling is evidence-informed and tailored to the individual. Depending on your needs, we may draw on ACT, trauma-informed counselling, nervous system regulation strategies, and relational approaches to help you create practical change.

If you have any questions or you are unable to find a time that suits you when booking, please do contact us either by email or call.
